Soledad Berbel-Roman joins Project Centre as a Flood Engineer
Project Centre has appointed Soledad Berbel-Roman as a Flood Engineer at our London Office where she will support Remsha Mohammed-Remla manage and develop the flooding team.
Soledad enjoys the everyday challenges at work and she has more than four years’ experience working in the UK and the United States. She has delivered the Risk Assessment (strategic, intermediate and detailed) for several Surface Water Management Plans (SWMP), 1D/2D hydraulic modelling, flood impact assessments, GIS automation, Python coding, risk analysis and sustainable development.
A highlight from her previous experience is the 1D/2D TUFLOW GPU flood models, consequence analysis and mapping for 100 reservoirs in the UK. This included the development of tools to automate some parts of the process and best practices for quality assurance of all model outputs.
