Diana Mercado

Traffic Engineer

Diana joined Project Centre in 2018 as a Traffic Engineer. Before this Diana was involved in several highways resurfacing schemes from TfL. At school she was involved in a project from the Mayor to demarginalize poor neighbourhoods in her home city Bogotá-Colombia. When not at work she enjoys listening to music and playing sports with her boys.

Vass Constantinides

Trainee Technician

Vass joined Project Centre in 2018 and will be exploring different departments during this exciting time. He currently goes to Westminster College once a week to study for his HNC in Civil Engineering. Outside of work, Vass loves to play and watch football, and follow Arsenal across the land.

James Grimsdale

James is a BEng Civil Engineering Graduate, his dissertation focused on using carbon fibre reinforcement techniques on Southsea South Parade Pier involving Portsmouth City CounciI, South Parade Trust and a local contractor. He thoroughly enjoyed working on the project and looks forward to tackling new projects at Project Centre! In his free time he plays guitar and writes music.

Mibun Sharma

Parking Consultant

Mibun is currently working as a parking consultant. He is responsible for designing  of controlled parking zones, compliance checking of sign and line  and site survey for various parking schemes and design as well. He got skills in Autocad and Parkmap. He loves to watch football and tennis and in spare time loves to do DIY jobs.

Caitlin King

Assistant Transport Planner

Caitlin’s job is to assess the transport impact of new developments, ensuring that they integrate to their surrounding environment in the most effective and sustainable ways. She also assists in local transport improvement strategies.
In her spare time Caitlin is a keen cook, and loves hill walking in the Scottish highlands.

Jack Dean

Bid Administrator

Jack joined Project Centre in 2018, previously pursuing an English and American Literature degree. His studies took him to Colorado where he spent a semester. In his spare time, he can usually be found watching bad movies or visiting his family in Brighton.

Ebenezer Harris

Principal Traffic Modeller

Ebenezer is a Chartered Engineer who joined us in 2009. He has over 15 years’ experience in the Transport Engineering Industry. He is mainly involved in traffic modelling to simulate traffic conditions to assess the road network capacity impacts of proposals. Outside work, he is very much into church activities and sport – football (Arsenal) and Formula 1 (Hamilton) his favourites.

Faith Coles

Transport Planner

Faith has worked in sustainable travel since graduating in 2008. She’s passionate about improving health and environment through encouraging active travel, always thinking up new initiatives to get people walking and cycling.
When she’s not wearing her shoes out walking, Faith enjoys exploring the world, both locally and globally, squeezing in as many trips as her annual leave will allow.

Avtar Kandola

Chartered Engineer

Avtar has over 30 years of experience and have worked on numerous high profile projects with: Kier Highways, WSP, Dar Al- Handasah, Arup and Highway Authorities. He is a Chartered Engineer, passionate about his work, with experience in design, management and construction supervision of projects. He enjoys playing hockey.

Geoff Waller

Associate Director Engineering

Geoff looks after the Engineering Team in Brighton and runs a number of Local Authority Frameworks delivering a wide range of Highway, Engineering and Public Realm schemes throughout the South East. Being based in the Brighton Geoff takes full advantage of the local independent coffee scene and is an amateur barista. Geoff also loves DIY and practices his skills for projects for friends and family.

George Godfrey

GIS Consultant

George has a background in GIS and cartography but has been involved in many other areas of work at Project Centre. These include parking, electric vehicle charging, flood risk and public consultation.

In his spare time George enjoys outdoor sports such as whitewater kayaking and rock climbing.

Bharati Ghodke

Principle Urban Designer

Bharati is passionate about making a difference to the in-between spaces where people move and interact. She has been working on public realm improvement projects since 2005. Bharati joined in 2018 to continue this work.
Bharati enjoys travelling with her family to explore historic cities and experience different cultures.

Iain Grice

Civil Engineer

Iain is part of the engineering team at project centre and takes a pragmatic approach to achieve client goals in an effective manner. In his spare time Iain enjoys gaming and sports! He is captain of his Sunday league team and enjoys participating in social events.

Ian Chambers

CAD Technician

Ian is a CAD Technician in the Brighton office, he joined Project Centre in early 2017.

When he’s not doing nice drawings he’s a massive music geek and enjoys going to gigs and listening to music.

Jade Edwards Samuels


Jade likes to watch films, read books and keep active. She plays football and enjoys going to the gym a few times a week. This helps because I love to eat out and try lots of different foods. Jade hasn’t lived in London very long so likes to check out what there is to do in the city. She has been a Graduate Consultant at Project Centre for a year and currently work in the engineering team.

Jereme McKaskill

Principal Consultant

Jereme is a project manager specialising on schemes that improve cyclist and and pedestrian permeability, in line with client and stakeholder needs. Much of this is for cycling and road safety improvements. Raised in the antipodes, he now enjoys the friendliness and variety that comes with living on a canal boat.

Jessica Cecchinelli

Traffic Modeller

The role of Jessica is to support the development and use of micro- and macro- simulation transport models and carrying out analyses and evaluations, in order to deliver a wide variety of outputs to inform transport projects.

In her spare time, Jessica likes travelling and especially enjoying the sun on the beach. She loves sports in particular volleyball and spinning.

Khem Paudel

Structural Engineer

Khem has more than 18 years experience in highway design, bridge and structure inspection and implementation.
Khem has worked for Project Centre since February 2016 and previously worked for Kier Services, Mouchel, Pinnacle Transportation and Rignway in different part of the UK.

Kristina Coxall


Kristina joined Project Centre in 2015 as part of their graduate scheme. She is in the DesignWorks Team and is hoping to complete her ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma this year. Kristina is a graduate member of the CIHT, part of the CIHT Young Professionals Committee and a graduate member of the ILP.

She enjoys playing netball, climbing, travelling and loves tiramisu.

Liam Cowley


Liam graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Mathematics and landed a graduate job at PCL. He’s now in the Traffic Team, focussing on Modelling.
He’d like you to think that he’s active, but this is not the truth! He really enjoys gaming at an extremely nerdy level and being the family IT guy.
(He also really loves his dog)

Lidia Pavon

Traffic Engineer

Lidia works on developing traffic schemes, including road safety and sustainable transport, particularly walking and cycling. She also carries out accident and survey analysis.
Lidia is from Spain, living in London since 2014. She loves to explore London and discover hidden places.

Elise Lim

Assistant Town Planner

Elise is passionate about improving places by converting data into visual information for reports, maps and plans. Elise is Australian and spent a year in Japan before moving to London. Elise loves to exploring cities, meeting friends for brunch, reading Manga and learning new skills.

Mark Chiverrell

Operations Director

As Operations Director of Engineering I enjoy championing the delivery of infrastructure projects for today and tomorrow. Understanding is much deeper than knowledge and I always encourage the status quo to be challenged by the team. I am a keen cyclist and always looking for the next challenge both on and off the saddle.

Michelle Loosley

Bid Manager

Michelle is an integral part our bid winning process. She provides high quality bid response documentation and manages the entire bid process from receipt of documentation through to final response, in a timely manner. Michelle is also very family focused and enjoys spending quality time with her young family.

Joe Fitzpatrick

Office & Business Support Administrator

Joe is a graduate from the University of Roehampton with a degree in psychology. When not working at Project Centre, he can usually be found in a way too expensive club, or in a KFC. He is a keen fan of good coffee and absolutely terrible puns.

Nabin Singh Pradhan

Parking Technician

Nabin joined Project Centre in 2005, initially working as site surveyor, he later joined the Parking Team as a Parking Technician and has since been involved in various parking projects including feasibility studies, scheme design and public consultations.

In his spare time Nabin enjoys cooking, going to the gym and watching football.

Xukun Han

Structural Engineer

Xukun is a versatile and dedicated Incorporated Civil Engineer with 9 years experience in various aspects of bridge and structural engineering. Xukun currently is studying at University of Surrey towards to an MSc in Bridge Engineering. In his spare time, he likes music, movies, jogging and travelling.

Mike Madden

Financial Controller

Mike joined Project Centre in 2013. He has over 20 years of experience working in and leading the finance teams of engineering, design and consulting companies. He provides strategic financial and tax advice to the board and works collaboratively with the business leaders to drive growth and profitability.

Hardeep Dhand (Sonny)

Principal Engineer

Hardeep known to most as Sonny joined Project Centre in 2015 from a Local Authority background.
He is a passionate problem solver that loves finding a solution to those impossible situations.
He enjoys cooking, nerdy tech toys and building things out of scraps of other things.

Joao Toscano

Principal Landscape Architect

Joao’s job is to create beautiful places that will perform well and last, ensuring that communities feel the impact of thoughtful design and placemaking in their quality of life. In his spare time Joao loves to do sports and to travel.


Stefano Scarano

Landscape Architect

Stefano works on the connections between urban spaces, public history and identity. His goal is to design spaces that local communities will recognise and care for as their own.

He’s also been (at times still is) a novel writer, a dreamer and a clown Doctor visiting sick children in Naples’s Hospitals.

Cong Ma

Graduate Landscape Architect

As a landscape architect, Cong is interested in designing landscapes people enjoy and which respond and adapt to changes in climate. She enjoys spending time planning and cooking for many people during holidays. She also loves walking for hours in cities and the natural environment to see how people and animals make use of their outdoor space.

Liam Bell

Trainee Technician

Liam has recently joined as a training technician at Project Centre and is starting a civil engineering course in September 2018 to access more knowledge and understanding within engineering. Liam is very passionate about sports, especially football and golf as these are his main sports. Liam also plays cricket in the summer.

Steven Alexander

Senior Traffic Engineer

Steven is a senior traffic engineer who joined Project Centre in 2018 bringing with him 16 years’ experience. He enjoys travelling and spent two years living and working in Qatar. His new life goal is to visit every city in the UK.

Tim Mantle

Associate Director

Tim has been at Project Centre since 2005 and has over 30 years’ experience in traffic, parking, highways and civil engineering. He runs the traffic west team and has responsibility for annual delivery of works, he also account manages a number of key clients. An avid football fan he is often found wasting away a Saturday at some football ground or other in the hope of seeing a goal.

Stefan Hoefer

Assistant Flood Risk Engineer

Stefan grew up, studied and worked in Switzerland. He gained 2-years’ experience as a river engineer before moving to London to join Project Centre’s Flood and Water Management Team in 2018. His hobbies are about water too! He likes kite surfing, swimming (liquid), skiing and ice skating (frozen).

Fadzil Ismail

Principal Engineer

Fadzil joined Project Centre in 2017 as a Project Manager and Road Safety Auditor. Fadzil has been involved in various highway, road safety, cycle, bus priority, parking, town centre regeneration and public realm schemes. Fadzil enjoys going to the cinema, concerts, the theatre, eating out, keeping fit and yoga. Fadzil loves travel and exploring new places.

Samer Muhandes

Principal Drainage Engineer

Samer is a multi-lingual Civil Engineer specialised in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Management. He is also doing a part-time PhD at Imperial College London on SuDS and groundwater. On his free time, Samer plays basketball in the Surrey league.

Herbie Barnieh

Principal Lighting Design Manager

Herbie is a passionate engineer with 14 years of experience covering design, construction, and maintenance of lighting and utility projects. Herbie has a wealth of technical knowledge in the subject of exterior lighting, and has successfully honed his skills in the UK, Bahrain, and Qatar, whilst working on some high profile projects.

Gregory Beckford

Graduate Engineer

Gregory is an MEng Civil Engineering with Sustainability graduate, his dissertation involved using a Mach-Zehnder Interferometer to measure stress and strain in a structural member. In his free time, he enjoys keeping fit by playing basketball and keeping his mind occupied with sci-fi books.

Amandeep Birring

Graduate Consultant

Amandeep joined Project Centre in 2018 as a graduate consultant after completing her physical geography degree at Royal Holloway university. Outside of work Amandeep enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new food and binge-watching Netflix. She is looking forward to tackling new projects and learning new skills.

Amelia Edmondson

Graduate Engineer

Amelia joined Project Centre in September 2018 as a Graduate Engineer. She studied BSc Physical Geography, completing her dissertation thesis on The Effects of Urbanisation on Flooding in London. Whilst studying, she competed for her university lacrosse team, and enjoys travelling to new places.

Amardeep Sandhu

Graduate Consultant

Amardeep graduated in Civil Engineering from UCL and joined Project centre in 2018 working in the Slough modelling team. He enjoys backpacking (South East Asia being the most adventurous place he has visited) and is keen on travelling to many other countries in the future. In his spare time he enjoys bouldering, hiking and watching movies.

Ryan Weissler

Graduate Consultant

Ryan recently joined Project Centre in 2018 as a graduate consultant after completing his masters in Tunnelling at the University of Warwick. In his spare time he enjoys attending music festivals and binge watching TV shows. He’s also a huge sports fan, especially football, which he’s been playing for roughly 15 years.

Angus Stupple

Graduate Engineer

Angus recently joined Project Centre after graduating in BSc Geography. He studied at the University of Portsmouth and was also the Club Captain of their cricket team. He plays golf most weekends and enjoys travelling, socialising and watching films.


Chris Harrison

Associate Director

Chris is responsible for Project Centre’s traffic schemes and ensures they all run to time, budget and are of high quality. He is an Engineer at heart with a strong background in cycling schemes, road safety and transport planning. Outside of work Chris is currently learning Italian, he enjoys running, football and eating cake!

Keith Hanshaw

Managing Director

Keith joined Project Centre in 2015 and has led the company through its most successful period of growth and transformation. Keith was previously Director of Public Realm at Waltham Forest and has over 25 years local authority experience.

Allan Evans

Senior Traffic Engineer

Allan works in the Slough office and loves everything traffic signal related. When he’s not designing signal layouts, or modelling them, or writing specifications for them, he also works on junction design, traffic analysis and generally trying to make the roads a happier and safer place. He likes to fill his spare time finding new adventures with his family and friends.

Carlos da Rocha

Principal Traffic Engineer

Carlos joined Project Centre following rewarding roles in local government, contractors and at highways consultancies. He enjoys interacting with clients, delivering projects through team work, mentoring and encouraging new and experienced engineers within the Traffic engineering team. Carlos likes to cycle for leisure and travel, particularly to off-the-beaten-track locations for an authentic local experience.

Nichola Mansfield

Engagement Consultant

Nichola’s job is to get people talking and listening to each other, ensuring that communities feel involved in decisions being made in their local area. In her spare time Nichola loves to travel and has visited all seven continents. She is also a Mental Health Ambassador for Healthwatch Essex.

Paul Adams

Business and Commercial Director

Developing and managing new business opportunities is a key part of Paul’s role, as well as managing some of our key accounts. Paul has worked at Project Centre since 2012 and has gained a great deal of satisfaction in helping to bring in new work and develop successful client relationships.

Paul Chandler

Technical Director Transportation

Paul has been working in transportation for three decades. He manages our transportation service and provides technical services for our clients, which is what he loves most. He’s committed to bringing young talent into the company, and to ensuring that the old talent keeps learning and delivering quality work, including himself.

Richard Plant

Senior Parking Consultant

Richard has worked in parking related roles for 12 years and has a wealth of knowledge from the design and implementation of parking schemes, consultation engagement, parking demand studies and forecasting parking demand. Richard is project managing a number of varied projects both in and out of London. When not at work Richard occasionally DJs, attempts fishing and loves spending long weekends camping with family and friends.

Samuel Kwame Asare

Transport Engineer

Sam joined Project Centre in 2015 and tries to concentrate his efforts on delivering traffic modelling projects. On a good day he’s the life and soul of the traffic modelling team, infesting colleagues with his wittiness and can do attitude.

The self acclaimed “Sam the Man” enjoys watching football, Formula One, boxing and athletics. He likes to believe he’s a fitness fanatic but doesn’t commit to healthy eating.

Scott Lester

Regional Director - East

Scott has been working in civil engineering for 25 years and with Project Centre since 2016. Where have the years gone? It is very rewarding & refreshing working for an SME – you know everyone. Scott also has a pilots licence and love flying around the UK.

Sookyoung Im

Landscape Architect

Sook studied MA Landscape Architecture, then gained experience in high-end landscape and garden design companies, developing her landscape planting knowledge. Here, Sook quickly became a key member of DesignWorks on public realm design schemes. She’s involved in all design stages, from concept to detailed design and implementation. She is passionate about developing sustainable approaches and actively engaging local communities. She enjoys catching up with friends and loved ones, visiting well-designed gardens and taking a bath!

Tom Narborough

Trainee Engineer

Tom is a Trainee Engineer at Project Centre and have worked here since leaving school in 2016. Tom goes to the City of Westminster College to learn Civil Engineering and is keen to pursue this further. Outside of work he enjoys competing in sports, especially rugby and have played for 12 years.


Avisha Patel

GIS Consultant

Avi joined Project Centre in 2014 and works as a GIS Consultant within the Parking Team. She uses spatial analysis software to visually represent data and has also written Electric Vehicle strategies for local authorities. Avi hopes to complete her APM Project management qualification this year.

She enjoys travelling and loves David Attenborough documentaries, maps, whales and cheese.


Ben Meekings

Associate Director

Ben joined in 2007 and leads the transport and development planning team.
Living and working in Brighton and Hove he practices sustainable transport and can be found on a bike in the South Downs or paddle boarding in the sea in his spare time.


Ben Hodges

Project Accountant

As a project accountant Ben has quickly learnt how to keep his head above water. Sailing from a young age, when he is not drowning in accounts, you’ll find him at the coast for the weekend!

He instantly rose to fame in the office, when he introduced the notorious, weekly timesheet meme.
