Wild West End Garden
Project Centre was delighted to be selected by the New West End Company to act as the Principal Designer for the innovative and RHS Chelsea Gold winning Wild West End Garden recently completed in Old Quebec Street.
Project Centre undertook the project management, the detailed design of the pergola and supporting structure for the green walls; the layout of the garden; and an accessibility audit to ensure the garden was accessible to everyone. The garden is being officially opened in early July.
The garden now includes a wide array of shrubs and 11 new trees in planters, and has transformed the street from a standard London street into a living, green space which will help improve air quality and encourage bio-diversity. This section of Old Quebec Street is now closed to vehicular traffic for 18 months until December 2019.
