Steve Thompson published in BPA’s Parking News
Our Parking Development Specialist, Steve Thompson, has recently been published by the British Parking Association in their Parking News magazine, the frontrunner of their members’ magazines. Steve has over 25 years’ experience in the industry where he has worked with a wide variety of local authorities, a commitment that has been officially recognised with the award of fellowship of the BPA.
His publication, ‘Moving the lines’, suggests ways local authorities can streamline their Traffic Regulation Orders. His dynamic article explores concisely the different ways lengthy timescales can be reduced while simultaneously respecting local arrangements with stakeholders and authorities. He urges against inaction, stating that there are many ways to improve the process, but they require individuals to make the case.
