Stefano gains Chartership with the Landscape Institute
A fantastic achievement by Stefano to gain Chartership with the Landscape Institute! Specialised in streetscape and urban design, Stefano has worked for both local government and private clients. Working from large scale public realm projects to Micro-Urbanism intervention in public spaces, he was involved from the early stage of concept drawings up to construction detail design. Stefano has worked on high profile projects such as Tottenham Hale Public Realm, Camberley High Street and West Ealing Cross Rail Station, all requiring bespoke design to cater for the pedestrians who use these spaces day to day.
Chartership is earned by excelling and embodying professionalism. As one of the highest standards of the Landscape Institute, becoming Chartered means you are at the forefront of landscape design, planning, management and urban design. Equally impressive in both education and practice, Chartered members have their commitment to both development and best practice acknowledged by their achievement.
Chartership is also internationally recognised and allows for their advice and counsel to be recognised by peers, clients, colleagues and even public inquiries. To achieve this membership one must excel in a industry that day by day grows more competitive. The Landscape Institute Pathway to Chartership is based on a system of continual assessment. With the help of a mentor, Stefano planned, reviewed and reflected on his learning and built on regular feedback from his LI appointed supervisor. He then demonstrated that he had developed sufficient knowledge and understanding through this long and detailed process. A final exam established that he met the very high standards requested by the Landscape Institute.
We’re very excited for Stefano to continue his professional development and we continue to be impressed by his dedication as proven by his well deserved Chartership.
