Project Centre sponsor Traffic + Parking conference
Project Centre is sponsoring Landor LINKS annual Traffic and Parking Conference which is set to be another extremely successful gathering of professionals from private and public sectors. The event focuses on managing vehicles in terms of movement and parking to better promote the vitality of urban areas. This includes reducing traffic congestion, delivering safer and healthier streets and facilitating best practice for mobility. Beyond acting as a forum for networking and the mutual trading of ideas and concepts, there are opportunities for showcasing the most recent innovations that are reshaping the industry.
From academics to campaigners, the conference also features several prominent speakers who will be panelling a number of crucial topics. Among them, some of our very own will be part of the discussions. Managing Director Keith Hanshaw and Technical Director Nick Ruxton-Boyle are opening the day with ‘Now and Tomorrow’ where they will be discussing the digital transformation of parking streets and new workplace parking levy schemes. Nick will also be speaking on ‘safer and healthier streets’ alongside Head of Marketing and Engagement Nichola Mansfield, focusing on schemes such as Liveable Neighbourhoods, school streets and clean air zones. Last but not least, Associate Director Ollie Miller and Parking Development Specialist Steve Thompson will speak about ‘the dynamic kerbside’, the themes of which include TRO’s, accommodating EV Charging and creating parklets.
Good luck to our speakers, and we hope they enjoy networking with contacts, old and new.
