PCL sponsors of Liveable Neighbourhoods Conference
Project Centre is delighted to be sponsoring the Liveable Neighbourhoods Conference 2019. Following on from the publication of the Liveable Neighbourhoods Best Practice Guide, this event will showcase the best examples of policy, projects and programmes that deliver Liveable Neighbourhoods.
We are proud to have drafted five successful Liveable Neighbourhood bids with clients and are currently working on several of these schemes. With this knowledge our Principal Traffic Engineer Jacinda Corlett will be speaking at the conference on ‘Successful bid writing: what makes a neighbourhood liveable?’ drawing from her extensive experience in Healthy Street schemes, while our Healthy Streets Advisor Lucy Marstrand will be part of a discussion with several big names in the industry centred around designs for walking and cycling.
The conference itself will feature several debates and speakers who will reference case studies of Liveable Neighbourhood schemes, not to mention the exhibitions which include local authorities, consultancy companies, cycle hire companies, bicycle brands, events and marketing, campaign groups and more who will showcase their businesses, ideas and concepts.
In addition, we will be running our own stall to showcase our current Liveable Neighbourhood projects and discuss our previous work where we can discuss our experience and findings.
We are excited to meet the future bidders and decision makers who are supporting Liveable Neighbourhoods and we can’t wait to discuss our own part in making this a reality.
More about the guide and our contributions can be found here.
