PCL Organise Inter-Borough Charity Football Competition

This week, Project Centre alongside six other teams, went head to head in our first Inter-Borough tournament. Our friendly rivals consisted of the London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing, Southwark, Haringey, Merton and recruitment consultancy, Carrington West. Welcoming some old friends and new faces, we quickly got down to business. After a series of intense games, Carrington West triumphed under Luke Clifford’s captainship against the London Borough of Merton in the final. We want to thank everyone who took part in this exciting event and plan to return to the pitch for a rematch soon.

We are proud to say that we organised this competition to raise money for H&F Foodbank and Baron’s Court Project. These exceptional organisations combat homelessness, poverty and mental health issues for at risk people earning low incomes. We are grateful for the wonderful turnout and the donations provided by all the participants.
