Happy New Year from Project Centre
As we welcome in 2020, we look back on the previous year and what we achieved. As always, our borders widen with us opening two offices in Old Street and Edinburgh. Our office in Manchester has expanded to fit our growth and will double in size, while Brighton and Slough offices will also expand their horizons. DesignWorks, Engagement and Transport Planning have also all seen huge development with Engagement tripling in size.
Just a few of our successes, have been winning the Align joint venture as well as the Medway Hoo Peninsula project. Strood Town centre has now been completed and is running well. Our work with Hull City Council on the Stoneferry scheme and Bus Rapid Transit Scheme. Other wins include Merseytravel cycle network delivery schemes, securing the funding and managing delivery for Maidenhead Station improvements and the Sir Nicholas Winton Memorial Gardens which was shortlisted for the Landscape Institute awards.
Much of our focus continues to be centred around sustainability. As such, last year saw us secure West Ealing and Haringey Liveable Neighbourhood Schemes as well as the extensive schemes relating to Tower Hamlets Liveable Streets. Towards this end as well, we have been the premier provider of Workplace Parking Levies in the UK. We also redesigned the under-capacity Eastcote Rain Gardens, an area incredibly prone to flooding, and carried out an in-depth assessment of Groves Bridge in Newham. To aid us with our busy schedule, we also became BIM accredited to use the software in our various designs.
We are immensely grateful to our dedicated teams who make Project Centre what it is today and we can’t wait to see what this year brings us.
