DesignWorks at Futurebuild 2020
Futurebuild is a showcase of ecobuild innovations that focus on infrastructure change, forwarding greener and more sustainable practices, which we are excited to be attending this week with our own stand. You can find us in the Critical Infrastructure Area under the Urban Forest Pavilion at the Trees and Design Action stand G149 as seen above.
Futurebuild features interactive workshop sessions which focus on different aspects of urban metabolism with speakers from various professionals from institutions such as UN Urban Economy Forum and UCL Institute for Global Prosperity.
The sections at the exhibit all follow the themes of sustainability. ‘Critical infrastructure’ includes green, blue, grey and social infrastructure while ‘Energy’ focuses on designing, specifying, supplying and installing energy production and use. ‘Buildings’ showcases refurbishments and retrofitting across domestic and commercial projects and ‘Interiors’ includes healthy kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms, technology, appliances and much more. All sections have been specifically tailored to cater to thousands of patrons over the week, further proving the scale and resources of this impressive conference.
We are excited to be side by side with like minded peers who are committed to delivering the UK government’s goal of achieving net zero carbon. The Urban Forest Pavilion contains those who are dedicated to preserving existing and planting more trees as an integral component of combating the climate emergency. This is naturally a core component of Project Centre’s schemes and our sustainable focus, something we are deeply passionate about.
