Congratulations Sook for gaining Landscape Institute chartership

Congratulations Sook for gaining Landscape Institute chartership

We are delighted that one of our Landscape Architects, Sookyoung Im, has been awarded Chartered Membership with the Landscape Institute!

This qualification is the result of 2 ½ years hard work and brings our total of chartered landscape architects to five. We know the importance of continuous development and encourage all our colleagues to pursue qualifications and memberships where possible. This internationally recognised qualification follows on from Sook gaining a BA in Garden Design at Falmouth University and completing a MA in Landscape Architecture at Sheffield University.

Gaining chartership ‘confirms that you have met the highest standards in both education and practice and it acknowledges your commitment to both professional integrity and the maintenance of this standard through continued professional development’.

Sook is a member of our DesignWorks team, which covers Landscape design, Engineering and Regeneration, and has an active role in client liaison, project management and stakeholders consultation/workshops. The team treated Sook to a well-deserved lunch to celebrate.

Sook specialises in landscape planting design, focussing in particular on SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Schemes) and Air Quality Improvement schemes, notable projects include Cassiobury Park Soft Landscape improvements, Stratford Gyratory Public Realm Improvement scheme and Sir Nicholas Winton Memorial Garden (www.projectcentre.co.uk/sir-nicholas-winton-memorial-garden-completed).

Congratulations Sook!
