Attending the Esri UK Annual Conference
Esri’s annual conference is the leading GIS event in the UK. The primary focus is to keep GIS analysts and data scientists appraised of the latest developments and future advancements of this integral technology, but this year’s conference also revolved around topics such as connecting people and possibilities, hosted by FedEx, and saving time, resources and lives with GIS as presented by American Red Cross. The eclectic mix of speakers informed a broad understanding of GIS capability that everyone could benefit from.
With over 2,500 people in attendance including specialist speakers from both private and public sectors, the event was a fantastic place to network with prominent members of the industry about the new innovations coming forward.
Project Centre employees Soledad Berbel-Roman, Stefan Hoefer and George Godfrey were in attendance earlier this week where they were amazed by the current capabilities of GIS. They returned brimming with new knowledge and an eager desire to apply what they’ve learnt to expanding and improving what we can offer as a business.
