Amelia Edmondson invited to speak at Northampton University
Earlier this week, Amelia Edmondson, who was brought on as part of our graduate scheme, returned to Northampton University to deliver a talk about Project Centre and the work we do. Having previously graduated with a Bachelor of science degree in physical geography, she joined with other post-graduates who now work in a wide array of fields including GIS technicians, waste management specialists and planning officers for companies such as the Environmental Agency or the Met office. She then spoke to students about her own personal experience joining PCL, the details and benefits of our graduate rotation scheme, her day to day work life, the use of different software, report writing skills, her experiences going out on site and the supply of biscuits in the office. We are delighted that Amelia could return to her roots and represent our company for prospective job seekers coming out of university. We hope her words inspired her fellow alumni and perhaps we will see them in the office for our next cycle of graduates.
